As the founder of 8.2, approaching its 30th anniversary on October 2, 2025, I’ve had a wealth of experiences.
From pioneering wind turbines in 1977 to developing the early KANO rotors in the mid-eighties and ascending the Manzanres solar updraft tower, I’ve been part of monumental milestones. My contributions, like “invention” of rope technology for blade inspections (1987), have shaped the industry. I was honored by the WindEnergieZirkel Hanse in May 2022 for my lifelong work.
I remain committed to renewable energy’s advancement. My passion stems from my anti-nuclear activism, driving me to educate and mentor countless professionals within the 8.2 group and beyond.
